Health cover in France

     When English people come to France, they usually have an E111 or similar form from the UK. It must be stressed that these forms have limited validity and are only intended for visits to France.

     If you are intending to live in France, it is important to register under the French Social Security system. This often involves obtaining further forms from the UK. We deal with all aspects of this process for our clients.

     The basic cover pays for approx. 70% of the cost, so it is usually advisable to take out a complémentaire, a private insurance which makes up the difference. We can advise on different complémentaires and which is most suitable for your circumstances.
